Hello

We are using SerDes chip DS32EL0421/DS32EL0124.

But we have been found that there are problems with restoration under certain pulse conditions.

< pulse 1>

- Pulse Period : 10 ms

- Pulse Width : 1 us

- Pulse Period : 157.2 us

- Pulse Width : 15 us

- pulse period : every 2 us before Pulse 1

- pulse Width : 1us

< Device setting>

- DC balance : 0

- Remote sense : 1

above conditions, sometimes SerDes link is disconnected.

Or sometimes afterimage of pulse 1 is superimposed on pulse 2.

I want to know is there any possibility of error depending on pulse period or pulse width?

Hi Nick,

Can you quantify how many times you see each issue? Does resetting the device have any effect?

We operating equipment for 24 hours.

Roughly, the issue seems to appear once every 24 hours.

When it resets(or valid again), it becomes normal but the phenomenon repeats after a certain time.

When it's reset and the phenomenon repeats after a certain time, does it take a less amount of time for the issue to appear than when it initially appeared? I don't see any restrictions on the data pulse period/width in the datasheet so it's possible that this is not what's causing the issue.
