Hi Team

I have use I2C to updata PD FW. I have use TPS65988DJ HRESET pin for reset PD. but I find the hesrt pin from high to low. The chip did not reload SPI flash.

Can I use HRESET pin to do re-load SPI flash function?

The file CH1 : HRESET / CH2 : SPI CLK

If chip have reload code , The CH2 have some data.

I know for re-load coed can use 4CC GAID, but I want know Hreset pin function is chip reset or re-connector ?

Hi Kerr,

The behavior on the TPS65988 HRESET pin is different from TPS65982. In TPS65988, if there is still a valid configuration image and patch in the device RAM, then the TPS65988 will load from that config instead of from the SPI Flash. If you want to force a complete reboot and force the TPS65988 to reload the configuration from the SPI Flash, I would suggest sending a GAID 4CC Command over I2C.
