DS90UB954-Q1EVM: Impossible to access registers

when did you receive your EVM? Is it new or old?

Did you follow the instructions in the EVM user's guide to setup your system and EVM as required?

Thanks for your answer. It is a new one I guess because I received it 2 weeks ago.

Yes I did, I was able to communicate with the board. We let the board plugged to power supply all the night and in the morning we were not able to read/write register anymore.

I guess TI954 chip is broken because I was able to load a firmware in the flash through embedded MCU.

Is there any way to find out if TI954 chip is still working and if not, is it possible to replace it ?

Are you using only the embedded MCU on the EVM or using additionally the USB2ANY dongle?

Try to measure the voltages on all power pins of the 954 and also at IDx and MODE pins and see if this matches the settings in the tables in the datasheet.

If all voltages are okay and current consumption is similar to the datasheet, then your 954 is not broken.
