DS80PCI402: Using DS80PCI402 with active optical cables

Part Number: DS80PCI402

We are using a Broadcom 8733 on a host interface card which connects to a card which has a DS80PCI402 redriver on it.  The other side of the redriver connects to RAID card at PCIe3 rate.  The interconnecting cable is a Amphenol fiber optic cable.  The two boards operate with copper cables between them but not with optical cable.  The 8733 board operates with fiber optic cable connected to another 8733 board.  Do you have any recommendations for register modifications in the DS80PCI402 for active cable operation?
