Part Number: TUSB1210
Dear,
we saw the TUSB1210 datasheet, but cannot support USB to USB OTG right?
If any suggestion, Please advise me.
Thanks,
Best regards,
Johnny

The TUSB1210 is a high speed USB OTG PHY, it is designed to Interface With a USB Controller Through the ULPI Interface.
What do you mean "not supporting USB to USB OTG"?
Thanks
David
Hi David,
I surveyed the current USB OTG solution, which they are mostly using ULPI to become USB OTG solution.
However, our platform didn't support UPLI, so that I would like to know if there is any other protocol solution to USB OTG solution, such as PCIe or USB to USB OTG.
Thanks
Johnny

The ULPI is an interface standard for high-speed USB 2.0 IP systems. It defines an interface between USB IP link controllers (OTG Controller) and the PHYs or transceivers (TUSB1210) that drive the actual bus.
The ULPI is an extension of the UTMI+ PHY standard. Both standards are definitions of interfaces between USB link controllers and PHYs, however ULPI is specifically for discrete PHY chips. The UTMI allows the peripheral to connect to a host computer at either high- or full-speed (for compatibility with old PCs). The UTMI+ standard is an extension of the original UTMI that adds support for OTG and host controllers at all speeds.
So if ULPI is not being supported, does the platform support UTMI+?
Thanks
David
