DP83TC811R-Q1: Link of TI PHY is not getting up

Hi,

We are using DP83TC811R-Q1 evm to evaluate automotive Ethernet Master and Slave config in our application.

In one of our scenario, we are not seeing link up of phy configured as master. I wanted to check whether there are any registers (apart from link status and signal quality) by which I can debug what is the state of Master in terms of automotive Ethernet link training sequence state?

Hi Vishal,

Are you observing long link up or not link up ?

For training sequence, the primary source to look for is Link UP Status.

Hi Geet,

We have used this TI PHY as a sniffer which will take a coupled output data from Master & slave PHYs.

This is interesting use-case. Given the their is continous signalling between Master and Slave, I am not sure how you will be able to decode.
