DS125BR111: VDD maximum Input Current

Hello team,

Could you please tell me how much current can go through VDD?

It's pretty sure to be above 60mA(Idd: max), but the customer would like to know this specification while considering the safety for their circuit. (e.g. VDD input the capacitor is shorted)

Hi Kazuki,

Internally we do expect 60mA to be the maximum internally. If externally there is a short the current could be much higher.

The maximum specification for our internal LDO which develops the VDD level is ~ 250mA. Shorting VDD to GND would exceed this current and would only be limited by the series resistance of our LDO and the resistance of the short itself.
