TPIC8101: VRESET value

Hello Team,

One of my customer is using TPIC8101 for knock detection.

In the formula, there is a term VRESET. The datasheet does not specify the recommended value for VRESET. But 0.125V is used in equation (7) of the datasheet.

Please let me know what value is to be used for VRESET.

I need some time to dig to get this information. Did the customer notice any issue using the 0.125V?

Hello Sharath,

Customer has not reported any issue, but according to them sufficient information is not given about VRESET value. And what is the reason to choose VRESET= 0.125V in equation (7) of the datasheet.
