hello,

For 947 register 0x5E:

Frequency High Threshold: Sets the high threshold for the OLDI Clock frequency detect circuit in MHz.

What's this register for? Does it mean the maximum allowable OLDI clock?

If 0x5E=0x44, what is the frequency in MHz? Thanks.

Hello Dongbao,

In Reg 0x5E[6:0] you can define the Frequency High Threshold, which sets the high threshold for the OLDI Clock frequency detect circuit in MHz. And this is used if the Auto-Detect is enabled:
If the Frequency detected is lower than FREQ_HIGH then the device will operate in Single link mode.
If the Frequency detected is higher than FREQ_HIGH then the device will operate in Dual link mode.

Does 0x5e=0x44 mean the fre_high is 68Mhz？

One more thing to confirm, it's OLDI clock frequency, not PCLK, right?

Yes, 0x5E=0x44 means 68MHz.

Yes, this is the Input Clock which is the OLDI CLK.
