Team,
We want to know what the resistance or impedance looking into the output of the transmitter (resistance or impedance between Z and Y terminals) with the power (VCC) to the device off. For the particular application that we are using this part for, we need the resistance or impedance looking into the transmitter output to be > 50K. For other similar type transmitters, some data sheets will provide an output leakage current at a specified voltage applied across the transmitter output terminals with transmitter disabled or power off that can be used to calculate a transmitter output impedance. Leakage currents are typically in the 10’s or 100’s of microamps so equivalent resistance looking into the transmitter output with power off is high.
For the THVD1451 part, we were wondering if the transmitter output impedance or leakage current into transmitter output at a specified voltage across the output terminals is known with no power applied (Vcc = 0V). We did not see anything on data sheet that covered this.
