Project：Optical transceiver，Currently under selection；

There are some questions about LMH0318:

1. Can LMH0318 connect ordinary 100M optical module directly? if not，why？

2. LMH0318 and LMH0324 are used together？I'm going to use a MCU configuration out there. What should I pay attention to？

Hi Cris,

1). You can connect differential 100-ohm LMH1218 OUT1 through AC coupling to an optical module. Please note optical module may have AC coupling cap internal to the module. In this case, you don't need AC coupling cap.

2). Please note LMH0318 and LMH0324 section 9 application section. In this section you can find design guidelines.

Hi Cris,

Yes. LMH1218 and LMH0318 use the same die.
