    Hi Ben,

    For conversion between SPI and CAN you've found the right device in TCAN4550-Q1.  If you have any questions on that device or its usage please let us know.

    For COM port to CAN I'm unfortunately not aware of any solutions.  The easiest solution may be to try to convert the COM data to SPI.  This isn't a common need I've seen, though, so I'm curious about the application.  Does the MCU used for UART communication via COM port not support SPI?
