HD3SS3220: VBUS_DET at DFP

Hi team,

According to the Fig.11 in the  d/s, VBUS_DET is tied to VBUS with 900kohm. Does the VBUS_DET is required at DFP?  Does VBUS_DET function in the DFP state?

    Hi,

    VBUS_DET is important in DFP mode as it is used to ensure Vbus has been discharged, when a connected has been detect, before enabling power switch to provide Vbus. Vbus_DET should not to pulled high at all times as this will prevent proper connection in DFP mode.
