Hi Team,

Can you please help me understand how the ID code words for the 948? Registers 0xF0 through 0x55? How do the bytes work in conjunction with the code ID?

Hello Jared,

These registers really don't have anything to do with HDCP. These register 0xF0-0xF5 just spell out the following in ASCII hex codes:

"_UH948"

I just noticed that the 0xF4-0xF5 register descriptions do not say explicitly "4" and "8" respectively. I will fix it in the upcoming datasheet rev.
