Is TCAN1042-Q1 qualified for QM according to ISO26262?

    Viktorija,

    The only device we have ASIL QM documentation is the TCAN4550-Q1 because it has fault-detection with external indication and some kind of control of the system. The TCAN1043 could also be somewhat considered for this rating, but the TCAN1042 has no control or indication of faults, just self-detection.

    For the TCAN1042, we can provide the failure mode distribution and the pin FMEA to show fault and failure conditions. Would this help?
