TPS65983B: GPIO set-up with configuration tool

hi,

we are using TPS65983B on an Apex Creek platform.

we are wondering how is possible to configure the GPIOs ny using the configuration tool available for the TPS65983B (we couldn't find any reference, evidence or trace or description for this, and hope you may shed some light on it)

    Hi Vincenzo,

    The TPS65983B PD Controller is constrained to follow Intel Thunderbolt Reference designs. The TPS65983B specific Configuration GUI follows the constraints placed on the device to ensure compatibility with the reference designs.

    You are correct that this Configuration GUI does not allow GPIO changes. If GPIO functionality is required for a design then I suggest considering other TI PD Controllers with Thunderbolt Compatibility.
