Hi,

I want to develop ds90uh948 repeater board. I have searched but was not able to find a reference schematic for the same. I want to use ds90uh948 as deserializer and ds90uh947 as serializer. Appreciate any help.

    Hello Mayank,

    We do not have a reference board for such application unfortunately. The datasheet for 948 does contain some information about how to set this up though. One thing to be cautious of is the total jitter specification for 947 in this configuration. Please ensure that the input jitter at both the first 947 and the second 947 are low enough to meet the datasheet specifications. Depending on system design, achieving this specification may require use of a jitter cleaning device in the middle at the repeater board.

    Do you have a suggestion for Jitter cleaning chip I could you in the design?

    Hello Mayank,

    Unfortunately I do not have a device to recommend. The only potential solution I am aware of would be to use a device like an FPGA.
