I like to know the operation of this part in case the Vcc is Not powered.

1. What would be the max clamped voltage for the DM, DP pins?

2. Can its ESD operation be guaranteed even when VCC=0v?

Hello,

We cannot guarantee a maximum clamping voltage other than what is in the datasheet.

I will say that we have many devices in the ESD portfolio that do not have a VCC pin and their clamping performance is documented in their respective datasheets.

Hello,

The ESD operation will work as in the diode will break down it will try to clamp the voltage. Now if it protects your system is a different question and it depends on what the ESD device is trying to protect.

Personally I would recommend using one of our devices that does not have a VCC pin like the TPD4E1U06 that will provide a high level of protection without having to use the VCC pin.
