Hi,
in the datasheet, there is Ios specified for a certain resistor value Rref:
Rref is 10 Ohms which displays a threshold of 1.72 A.
Can there be a different value for Rref selected and with this the threshold shifted?
Kind regards,
Marion

Marion,
Actually for the line you are reading, the Rref is 100k. Because the test condition box is left empty (for the 1.72A), it can be assumed that the test conditions used are the ones listed at the top of the table (pasted below). On the line below that where you read that Rref is 10 ohm, the current is 4.0 A. Some of the FETs rely on the current being around 1.5 A so you should use 100k for your Rref that connects to the ref pin. The REF pin description states that you should use a 0.5%, 100-ppm, 100-kΩ resistor between this pin and GND. Any other resistance value is not recommended.
Thanks,
Emma
