I have tried the parameters in the datasheet, but it still does not work at 100G.

I want to set DS280 in loopback mode to isolate the problem.

But I can not find the register to set loopback. Does the DS280 have loopback mode? How to set loopback mode?

• What do you mean by, it does not work at 100G? Have you measured the repeater output signal for your input channel case and tuned the repeater EQ, output amplitude and bandwidth  settings to optimize the repeater output eye opening?
• Can you confirm the repeater input data rate per channel is 25.78125Gbps? What is the data pattern used?
• Can you provide a detailed block diagram for your repeater test setup?

The input port rate set 100G, the optical status is down, while it work when rate is 10G.

I just tuned the repeate parameter， have not measured the repeater output signal.

I am not sure if there is a hardware problem on the board.

Measuring the repeater output is the first step in debugging the issue here. Couple additional questions.

• Would you be able to provide a detailed block diagram for your repeater test setup?
• What is the approximate insertion loss at 25Gbps for both the repeater input channel and output channel?

Thank  you for your suggestion.

But I do not have detailed block diagram, I just know the input is switch port, and output is 100G optical module.

I have no equipment for measuring the output and insertion loss.

My partner has take the board away and check it.
