Dear All,
We are using DP83869HM in our design.
We have used SGMII-to-Copper Mode in our design.
By default, we have enabled auto-negotiation via hardware strap pins and we could able to communicate with no issues.
But if we have to change the auto-negotiation to off and enabled speed as 1000 and duplex as full, the link is not able to establish.
Below are the registers we have used to configurred it.
Register: 0x0
Value: 0x140 <Auto Negiotation Disabled/Full Duplex/1000 Mbps>
Also, we have tried to configure with 100FD/10FD/1000HD/10HD but none seems to establish the link itself.
Ques 1: Kindly let us know the registers which I have used are sufficient or I need to configure the further registers.
Below is our requirement on the PHY to work in,
1. 1000 Half and Full Duplex
2. 100 Full Duplex
3. 10 Half and Full Duplex.
Ques 2: Kindly let us know will all the above modes will work or not,
