Hi Hugo,
If this bit is set, it means there is input signal. Description is correct.

Hi Sir,
Sorry I Explain the customer problem,
They are wan to read SDI_IO carrier detection status.
So reference programming guide page 9, "3.7.1 Check carrier Detect status on SDI_IO".
If Write REG 0xFF --> //Select ConfigIO Register Page.
If Read REG 0x02 Bit 6 is SDI_IO energy detect status.
But Page 37 REG 0x02 Bit 6 is for IN0 Status.
This is Customer Confuse point.
Hi Nasser,
If this bit set, which of below case does it indicate
1. is it indicating signal present at IN0+ IN0- (Pin 18 and pin19)
2. or it indicating signal present at SDI_IO+ and SDI_IO- (pin 1 and pin 2)
3. or either IN0+ IN0- (Pin 18 and pin19) or SDI_IO+ and SDI_IO- (pin 1 and pin 2) had signal
Hi PY,
This bit indicates signal presence on SDI_IO(#2 in your list) when device is configured in cable equalizer mode.
When device is configured as a cable driver, this bit is reserved. In this case, signal presence on IN0 is indicated by CDR page reg 0x01 bit 1.
