We are building a backplane system, with DP83822I Phy need to be communicating with GbE PHY

thru Transformerless mode using Capacitors. Please support us on how we can integrate GbE PHY

with DP83822I. Please share us any relevant application notes/circuit details.

Hi Saravana,

You do not need to do anything special except operate the PHY in a Class A line driver mode using register 0x404.

As for the connection, you would just route TD+/- and RD+/- to Channel A and Channel B of the 1G PHY depending on if you planning to operate in forced MDI, forced MDIX or auto-MDIX.
