Hi,

My customer would like to evaluate DP83TC811S-Q1 for a new commercial vehicle project and they asked about the max cable length that the device can support at 100Mbit data rate.

Could you please comment?

    Hi Caglar,

    Please refer to section 96.7 in IEEE 802.3bw for more details on length requirements. 

    "The link segment for a 100BASE-T1 PHY system is defined as in Figure 96–28, which consists of up to 15 m of single balanced twisted-pair cabling, with up to four in-line connectors and two mating connectors."
