Counterfeiting is a growing threat to our industry.  Because our topside marking is critical to our anti-counterfeiting efforts, TI does not translate that marking for customers because publicizing that information increases our counterfeiting risk and exposure.

• Our authorized distributors provide the date code information with their shipping paperwork.  Please address any questions through your supply chain.

Date code information is provided on the shipping paperwork when parts are purchased directly from TI or one of our authorized distributors.

I made a typo in previous response, the part is newer than 1996, but please refer to the date code information provided on the shipping paperwork.
