Did we have the product for SPI redriver?

Hi Sir,

We got the request from customer, they would like to have the redriver for SPI interface... did we have any candidate for it?

They would like to evaluate the redriver for touch pad which with SPI interface.

If we got the candidate, what is the distance that we suggest for added redriver?

We have buffers in our portfolio which can help with unidirectional signals like SPI. You can find them using the link below:

There you can filter by important parameters like VCC and data-rate.

As your information, could you please help to suggest if the CD74HCT126 or SN74HCT125 suitable for customer application?

And customer got a simple question, did we have any idea for the trace length that we guarantee buffer can support it?

Hi George,

I can't really answer effectively since you haven't given any info on the customer application other than its SPI. Those two devices are buffers so they will help improve the drive strength. SPI data rate shouldn't be an issue for those devices. My guess is that the supply is 5V? There really ins't a trace length or load requirement, but we always recommend keeping it below 70 pF if possible.

Hi Dylan,

They need the buffer for the touch pad application, due to some design change... the SPI interface trace should be longer, but we don't got the actual number from customer now.

Currently, they just want to know our design suggestion. You mentioned about the 70pF means CL need to keep below 70pF?
