I am new to FPD-Link PoC and need to understand how power is added to the Coax cable. Most literature exists on how power is retrieved or separated from COAX at Serializer end using inductors. But looking for reference design of any DeSerializer that shows how power is ADDED to the COAX.

Hello Ganesan,

The network for retrieving power from one end of the cable is exactly the same as adding the PoC at the other end.

A follow-up question. Is there a reference design available for the DeSerializer DS90UB936 or evaluation board? I am doing schematic and layout and can use a reference design for guidance.

Hello Ganesan,

You can use the DS90UB954-Q1 reference design files for 936 since they use the exact same electrical design. The EVM user's guide can be found here:
