Hi :

I use 947-948 to transmit LVDS signal in Infotainment. However, the screen of automobile flicker sometimes. How can I analyse this problem? Which register should I read? Here is video of problem. Thanks

    Hello,

    When you say this happens sometimes, do you mean only on some power cycles? Or just randomly during normal operation? 

    Can you give us more details about the application? Is the 947 input dual OLDI or single OLDI? What is the PCLK value?

    Hi Casey：

    Thank you for your answer. This problem randomly happen when I powered up and just one automobile have this problem up till now.

    947 set to single OLDI and PCLK is 158MHz. FPD-Link III is Dual Link.

    Hello,

    Please check to ensure that the input OpenLDI signal is stable before the 947 device powers up during system startup. I would also suggest trying the programming steps in the datasheet section 9.1 for the startup sequence.

    Also for 158MHz OpenLDI the jitter and skew for the input video signals is critical to getting robust performance. I would recommend checking the OpenLDI total jitter measured on your system to determine if it meets the datasheet specification of 0.2UI.
