Dear Sir.

We need to change the original 953/954 Synchronous Mode to Non-synchronous Mode.

Please kindly provide the reference settings for Non-synchronous Mode. Thank you.

    AJ,

    please check ub953 d/s in page26 on MODE selection. for the clocking mode, you just need set this mode.

    Also, you can change the back channel rate in UB954 if needed as well.

    About 954 What other settings need to be paid attention to besides the need to adjust the back channel rate register?

    We have confirmed the HW schematic. Mode pin is setting according to SPEC recommendations. But encountered a strange problem.

    We use CLK_OUT/IDX Pin to output the clock to the Sensor. Connect the 36k resistor according to the SPEC recommendation.

    Found that CLK_OUT will be isolated by the 36k resistor and cannot be transmitted to the Sensor. Why is this happening?

    AJ,

    1. no special reg. setting is required if you use the non-sync. mode

    2. For the CLK_OUT, pls check which clock mode is used in your case? if internal clock is used, the CLK_OUT has no output.
