DP83869HM: Power Consumption at 100% Utilization

Good day.

Our customer would like to know the power consumption at 100% utilization in 1000BASE-T to 1000BASE-X mode (Media converter mode) of DP83869HM. The datasheet only provides the power consumption details at 50% utilization.

This isn't a specification characterized for the datasheet. Can you share more information with me on the application and why this information is required by our customer?

Hi Vibhu,

I will use two DP83869HM:s in media converter-mode on one board. I want to power both boards using the same LDOs (one LDO for each seperate rail, i.e one 3v3 LDO, one 2V5 LDO and one 1V1 LDO). I need this information in order to calculate my power budget, thermal budget and find an appropriate power solution.

I have found some posts regarging this, but the power numbers differ:
