DS25BR440: DS25BR440 Output data response with PWDN

Hi,

For my design, LOS and PWDN are short together so that when LOS output LOW, the LVDS will power down. Could someone provide the following parameters: Ta, Tb, Tc and Td which are the time delay for LOS signal to response with respect to input data and time delay for the output data to response with respect to power down behavior. Thanks.

Here are the delays for the device

Ta = 5us

Tb = 12us

Tc = 200ns

Td = 10ns

Hi,

I noticed in datasheet, there are Ton and Toff provided. Is it refer to Tb and Td respectively? It seems unmatched with your data. The data that provided by you are in term of typ / max value?

The values are typical. I am also breaking up LOS/PWDN parts of the delay.

No Signal input -> Active signal input

Input Signal To LOS (deactivate) = 5us (Ta)

PWDN to Active signal output (Typical) = 12us (Tb)

Active signal input -> No signal input

No input signal to LOS (typical) = 200 ns (Tc)

PWDN to No output signal (typical) = 10 ns (Td)

Hi,

One more question on Tb and Td parameters. It is not related to Ton and Toff provided in datasheet as compared the values of Tb and Td are from to the Ton and Toff values? If they are not related, I would like to understand what does Ton and Toff refer to in the datasheet. Thanks.

Hi,

Ton = Tb = 12us (measured in lab)

The datasheet specification is Ton: 8us (typical) and 20us (maximum)

Toff = Td = 10ns (measured in lab)

The datasheet specification is Toff: 5ns (typical) and 12ns (maximum)

Please note that the original datasheet typical information was generated over 10 years ago.
