DS90UB964-Q1: Can the FPDLink III be splitted into 2 for some decoding applications? DS90UB913A <---> DS90UB964Q + DS90UB914A

Part Number: DS90UB964-Q1

We are now working on a project which requiring to capture the video signal from the vehicle, the onboard circuit from the vehicle is DS90UB913A <----> DS90UB964Q. We are going to make a board between the 913A & 964Q and capture the image from UB913A in the condition that the FPDlink between 913A and 964Q is still working fine. As for our board design, we are going to use the DS90UB914A for the YUV output to the DSP for some video application.  Therefore, we need to split the FPDLink III on our board.

Please refer to the below diagram, "was" refers to the onboard circuity from the vehicle, "now" refers the block diagram we are going to design:

Criteria:

- DS90UB913A is powered and initiated by DS90UB964Q

- DS90UB914A only reads the FPDLink signal from DS90UB913A

Question:

- Can the FPDLinkIII be splitted into and one for the DS90UB964Q and one for DS90UB914A respectively?

- If possible, how we are going to make it? Any specific chip to use?

Thanks
