DP83822I: Can DP83822 switch RGMII and MII?

Hello,

DP83822 supports RGMII and MII. There is two MACs but only one PHY wanted to use. Assumed to MAC interface is switched by analog switch RGMII and MII.

If assumed MAC side considered the switch over condition, can one DP83822 use by switching RGMII and MII?

Hello,

RGMII is gigbit ethernet. In this case, DP83867IR seems to have RGMII and MII.

Is DP83867 can switch 100M and 1000M by MAC side connection is siwtched?

Hello Toshihiro,

I am confused to what your application is, can you please share a system level bock diagram? Are you using the DP83822 or the DP83867?

You may have to ensure the pin strapping and register configuration is accurate for each of the modes. A PHY reset may be necessary.
