Here's the question

The customer is feeding the TFP410 with a serdes which is only 18 bits (6 red, 6 green, 6 blue)

The input to the TFP410 is 24 bits (8 red, 8 green, 8 blue)

Can he simply put the least significative bits to GND and only use the upper 6 bits? Will this cause any issues with the TFP410?

(pretty sure it won't but I could not locate the info)
