TUSB8020BEVM: Windows EEPROM utility

I have installed the utility, but can't modify the EEPROM values. No matter what I wrote, it is always 'FF' read back.

How can I modify the values? I'm using a 'TUSB8020BPHP_REVA' dev board.

Could you reload the picture? I cannot see it on my side. Please look into folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments Inc\TUSB80xx EEPROM Programmer and find a user guide as well that may help.

I'm also trying with the OTP tool. Here are some items highted, I don't understan them. Could you please advise what they are and what I should set as?

Hi Nico,

What are you trying to program? I do not recommend using the OTP tool unless you are sure on the final configuration of your USB Hub. Have you cleared the EEPROM before trying to write? Also what is the address of your EEPROM?

I'm trying to program EEPROM to confirm some configurations. Maybe OTP is the next step.

I do have cleared the EEPROM.

I'm useing a TUSB8020BPHP develop board, looks like the address is consistent.

Is Write Protect enabled? If so it should be disabled before trying to write to the EEPROM. Are you able to read/write from EEPROM with external I2C master?
