TUSB8044A: How to configure the switches on TUSB8044A EVM to lit D5 D6 D7 and D8

I have apply the evm TUSB8044A http://www.ti.com/tool/TUSB8044AEVM?keyMatch=TUSB8044AEVM&tisearch=Search-EN-everything&usecase=part-number

How can I setup the switches to powered just from J1 that connected to PC as a hub? I don't want to use J6 to power the board. As you can see when I connect the PC just D1 is lit.

Please refer to the TUSB8044A EVM user guide: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/snlu242/snlu242.pdf. The EVM operates from the power provided by a 5-V wall power adapter, J6, not bus power supplied by a USB host, J1. TI recommends to use a wall power adapter that is capable of sourcing 2 to 3 A because the hub must be able to source significant power on its downstream ports (900 mA per port).

Thank for your reply. Just two questions here:

1. If I have a 5-v adapter, how I configure the SW1 SW2?

2. If I just use one downstream port and it consume no more than 900 mA, I just want to power the device from the USB host, J1, how can I configure the SW1 and SW2?

For SW1 and SW2 configuration, please refer to section 3.1 Configuration Switch of the EVM user guide and TUSB8044A datasheet.

Power the device from the USB host requires the physical modification of the EVM, outside the intended purpose of EVM usage, and can't be supported.
