DS25BR440: Differential input threshold

Part Number: DS25BR440

Hello,

Considering "Differential Input High Threshold" and "Differential Input Low Threshold" (p5. of the datasheet, section LVDS INPUT DC SPECIFICATIONS), there is no schematical representation of these values.

Can you confirm that it consists in peak to peak differential input voltage ?

Best regards,

Christian

  • Hello-

Yes, the differential input high threshold indicates that the potential difference between input pins (VIN+)- (VIN-) needs to be at least 100 mV, so that the differential receiver can discern  it as a high.

Similarly, the differential input low threshold indicates that the potential difference between input pins (VIN+)- (VIN-) needs to be at least -100 mV, so that the differential receiver can discern  it as low.

In other words, the differential signal driving the DS25BR440 inputs should have at least 100 mV (peak to peak) amplitude.

    Davor

  • Hello,

Thank you very much for the precision.
