DS90UB962-Q1: ds90ub962-q1 don't compatible with ds90ub953-q1

For using 962 with 953 you must ensure that the MODE pin strapping is correct for CSI-2 mode. If you were working with 933 before then the device was strapped into RAW mode for backwards compatibility. Please see the 962 datasheet for details on the MODE pin strapping.

    Thanks your reply, we had changed 962 to CSI-2 mode, but 962 stiil can't link with 953.
    As we know: DS90UB953-Q1 FPD-Link III 4.16-Gbps Serializer 
    DS90UB962-Q1 Quad 3-Gbps FPD-Link III Deserializer Hub

    Does DS90UB953-Q1 need to reduce bandwidth or frequency to link  962?
    Or, we need to change POC-lvds filter by 953 side or 962 side?

Hello Chingte,

The 3Gbps is referring to the reduced CSI-2 bandwidth of 962, not the actual line rate for the FPD-Link portion. Can you please also check the MODE strapping for 953 and send over the schematics so I can take a look?
