I am looking for a PCIE multiplexer.. This device will be interfacing the Intel CPU root port ( Broadwell DE / Hewitt lake) The downstream device will be FPGAs.

I got details of the below device from TI portal.

I am looking for 8 channel device similar to TS2PCIE412. looks like 8Ch device is not available TS2PCIE412 or which one Is commonly use and compatible with Intel CPU like Broadwell DE / Hweiit lake ?

Hi,

The HD3SS3412A is the most commonly used device for this PCIe mux application.

There is not an option for 8 channels at the Gen3 datarate.

Thanks Lee,

This temperature range mentioned is 0 – 70-degC. Is there a 85-degC variant possibility in future ?

Hi,

Currently the HD3SS3411 is the only higher bandwidth device rated over 70C. I expect additional devices will be introduced with 85C temperature rating next year.
