DS90UB954-Q1: The set of I2C rate

Part Number: DS90UB954-Q1

Hi,

The sentences below mean that the I2C rate of 954 is the host's rate , 953 and sensor's rate are depended on the settings for the proxy I2C master ,right?

I notice that 954 0x0A and 0x0B are the set as mentioned above. But 953 has two registers 0x0B  and 0x0C , they also have the same fuction .

I just don't know how to set the rate ,if I want 954 and 953 run in a same rate, for example, 400Khz.

Looking forward to your reply.

  • Hello Yue,

The I2C rates at the SER and DES are independent as they may run off different clock domains depending on the selected clocking mode. Please set the 0x0B and 0x0C registers inside the 953 based on section 7.5.3 to get the desired speed.

    Best Regards,

    Casey
