TCA9800: With lower low level waveform

Part Number: TCA9800
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9803

Dear Team,

Currently, the customer use TCA9800 connect between PU6 and PU4.

TCA9800 A side connect to PU6, B side connect to PU4.

With 3.3V and 1.5kohm pull high.

Since the PU4 input need under 0.4V.

Is there any method can have lower low level voltage here?

Is TCA9803 will help here?

BR

Kevin

  • Hey Kevin,

What your suggesting is to use TCA980x between the current sensor and the I2C isolator however the isolator's A side uses a static voltage offset. Our TCA980x B side may not work when connected to a static voltage offset.

What might work is if you flip the si8600 device instead so B side of that is connected to B side of our TCA980x. That way A side of TCA980x would support the ViL level of the current sensor and the B side of the si8600 would interface correctly with our TCA980x B side.
