PCA9306: Lost SDA1 signal

Hi everyone ,

When I debug my board I don't have the signal SDA1 . The others signals are visible SCL2, SCL1 and SDA2. In the img attached you can see the schematic. The pullups SCL2 & SDA2 are on another sheet ( they have the same value 4.7k). The package is 8-X2SON. What could be my mistake?

Hi User,

If SCL1 and SCL2 are working then it suggests the device is operating properly. Have you verified the connections to make sure the problem isn't something simple like a missed solder joint? Is the lost waveform stuck high or stuck low?

After I saw with magnifying glass the issue is the solder joint. Fixed was very difficult because de package is so little. I don't know if the real issue is my pcb footprint, but is the second board in a little lot of 10th. The component is sourrounded of some passives components how resistors and capacitors. I should review these points. Thanks .
