Hi Sir,

My customer planning to put TCA4311A for HotSwappale Buffer to prevent host signal.
Could you please help to suggest which placement of TCA4311A is good for hotswappale buffer feature? A side or B side?

    Hey Anne,

    The TCA4311A 'inside' should be placed on the board which is being hot plugged into the backplane. From your illustration, it looks like the HDD SLED is being hot plugged so the TCA4311A should sit on the HDD SLED or 'B' side as you have it.

    May I also suggest evaluating our TCA9511A which is currently sampling as well.
