Hi,
I can find the I2C IO expander like TCA9535. How about UART IO EXPANDER? Does TI have UART IO EXPANDER? Please let me know.
Thanks and best regards,
M. HATTORI

Hattori-san,
Unfortunately I do not know of a device like this, although a lower-end MCU could be programmed for this purpose. Generally I don't see much advantage to UART control verus I2C since both would use at least two communication wires (SDA/SCL vs. TX/RX, plus interrupt line if needed), and the I2C implementation is usually simpler. May I please ask the reason why you are looking for UART control instead?
Thank you,
