Hi sir,

We are using SN65HVD230 CAN transceiver for our application, Here whatever data transmitted to the TXD from the MCU, the same data was reflected from the RX pin of the SN65HVD230 IC, When it is connected with load or Idle.

CAN H and CAN L waveform is perfect.
Split termination method is used.
Common mode of the split termination is not connected with Vref pin.

Hi Vignesh,

This is the intended behavior. The RXD pin of a CAN transceiver will always report the bus state (dominant or recessive) to the controller whether the bus is being driven due to activity on its own TXD or due to another node. This is required by the CAN protocol for proper arbitration and error monitoring. Please let me know if this is not clear or if it does not answer your question.
