I've been asked by Customer as below.
Why the link up time was different if compare with competitor as WJLXT971ALE
(its datasheet is https://www.digikey.jp/product-detail/ja/inphi-corporation/WJLXT971ALE.A4-857343/1008-1041-ND/2505094)
when they use the their system as below
unit A (PHY:DP83822IRHBR) ⇔ HUB (customer doesn't know which phy is used in HUB)
it took several sec ~ several minutes if unit A is auto negotiation mode and HUB is 100M full duplex mode
it took several sec when they used the unit (used WJLXT971ALE).
in case of the configuration for HUB and unitA were "auto negotiation" each other, the link up time was several time even TI , DP83822I

could you give us those comparison table and the reason why those different link up time happened by pointing it out what different parameter from comp should've been related this phenomenon.?

Q2.Why DP83822 TI Ethernet PHY takes more time than competitor?
