We are considering the DP83867 as a sub to the 88E1512 .
I'm trying to look for the approx timing till the phy can establish link , and what should be the quickest way to achieve a link (maybe by skipping the autoneg option).

Hello Dan,
On the DP83867E you do have the option to disable auto-negotiation via strap configuration. Additionally you may also disable the advertisement of 10M via strap configuration.
Once auto-negotiation is disabled you may need to write via SMI based on whether the mode you need is the default register settings of 0x0000, bits 6, 8 and 13.
What mode (speed, full vs half duplex) do you wish to operate in?

Actually i Do want to be working in fixed 10Mbps at this board ,
so my mode will be 10M,full duplex.

In that case your options are to either disable auto negotiation and register configure the PHY to your required mode or use auto negotiation as you are now.

Unfortunately I do not have any characterization data on this. I would expect the link time to be 3-5 seconds.
