Hi team,
Delays become longer the further Vref1 and Vref2 are from each other. Why?
Best regards,

Hi Naizeng,
PCA9306 uses the voltage created at Vref2 of Vref1 + Vth for reference when propagating a LOW from one side to another. When either side drops below this threshold, the device effectively connects both sides, allowing the driving side to pull the opposite side LOW as well. For example, in the case where the voltage at SDA2 > Vref1 + Vth and SDA2 is pulling LOW, the voltage at this pin will have to drop below the reference voltage Vref1 + Vth before the device begins to propagate the signal. The further apart SDA2 starts from Vref1 + Vth, the longer it will take for the voltage to drop below this threshold and for the signal to propagate.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Eric
