SN65C1167: SPI buffer (60Mhz) solution using SN65C1167

Hi team,

Would like to consult with you about our SN65C1167 whether can support 60MHz spi buffer.

My customer has search out the below AP which is using SN65C1167  to implement SPI buffer.

It doesn't mention about the speed about the SPI signal but the propagation delay of 1167 should be higher than expected if using at 60MHz SPI signal.

Whether SN65C1167 is still a suitable solution for  60MHZ SPI signal? Thank for your comment.

    Feng bin,

    The fast multiple channel RS-485 driver is AM26LV31 and AM26LV31E, which work with 32MHz. SN65C1167 is a little slower than these devices. It might be a stretch for 60MHz SPI applications. However the distance, transmission media and topology (with or without clock feedback path) all play roles here.
