Does TI have any recommendations on protection circuitry for the serialized link of DS90UA101-Q1 beyond simple ac-coupling? My application will have an SCK of 32.768MHz, which will be line rate of 917.504MHz.

Are you referring to ESD protection diode for the I2S interface?

Aaron,

I was actually referring to ESD / other protection on the high-speed serial link (DOUT+ and DOUT-), since that connection goes off-board.

Hi Evan,

What is the ESD ratings that you are looking for? In the ESD table of the datasheet, it stated that it can sustain beyond ±8kV. Here is the ESD protection diode that I used for my EVM TPD4E02B04-Q1 and none automotive TPD1E0B04DPYR.
